Checking the hydraulic supply

Before commissioning the hydraulic power unit, check
• the hydraulic hose lines for damage;
• the tight seat of the fittings; connection to hydraulic power unit and to P/T distributor
• as to whether any components are damaged;
• as to whether all attachment parts are properly connected;
• that the tank is filled. Related details are contained in the following chapter.
8.3

Filling the oil tank

In this connection, observe the specifications for the hydraulic fluid to be used.
These specifications are contained in chap. 13.
If other hydraulic fluids than those described in chap. 13 are to be used, coordination with
the Bosch Rexroth service is necessary before any use.
Prerequisite for first filling, refilling, oil exchange:
Ensure that the hydraulic power unit is switched off and that the mains plug is

pulled out.
Make sure that the work station is depressurized.

Keep a funnel ready.

For the hydraulic fluid to be used, please refer to chap. 13.

