11-5) LOW-NOISE PRESSER FOOT

1) Setting the Low-Noise Presser Foot
① Unfasten screws on the driver cam and lever of the presser foot. Turn the hand wheel to set the needle bar at the
lowest point (180°). Insert the roller into the cam, turn the cam, and tighten the screw on the lever when the roller
comes to the furthest from the cam center.

[ CAUTION ]
When tightening the screw on the driver lever(s), pull the shaft so that there is no gap between the lever
and the arm.
