2.2.6 Connecting with the controller

Carry out the following procedure after installing the controller referring to the separate "Controller Setup, Basic
Operation and Maintenance" manual.

(1) Connection of robot arm and machine cable

RV-2FR series
1) Make sure that the power of the controller is turned OFF.
2) Connect the machine cable to CN1 connector on the robot
arm.
Note) RV-7FR series is shown. The same connection
method is also applicable to other models with the
same-shaped connector.
For RV-2FR series, insert the connector until the
connector edge is aligned with the CONBOX surface and
tighten two bolts.
For RV-4FR/7FR series, insert the connector until the line
of the connector is aligned with the CONBOX surface and
tighten two bolts.
(Screw fixing torque: 3.6 to 4.4 Nm)
CAUTION
Connecting the machine cable is completed.
