(2) RV-13FR/13FRL, RV-20FR
Install the solenoid valve set on the forearm.
The installation procedure of solenoid valve set depends on robot series and specifications. Refer to the expla -
nation section corresponding to the robot which uses and install the solenoid valve set properly.
This paragraph explains how to install the solenoid valve set to RV-13FR/13FRL and RV-20FR robots. (The sole -
noid valve set of 1F-VD04-03 is used as an example.)
Turn the controller's power OFF before this installing operation.
In addition, an instruction is described based on internal wiring and piping specification. Refer only to the Required
section for standard specification
1) Removes a bolt and installs the coupling.
a) Remove bolts, nuts and seal washers that were fixed on the optional solenoid valve set. To do this, remove
the bolts attached the position to use as shown in the figure.
b) Attach a bulkhead coupling to the hole. The bulkhead couplings are one of the attachments of robot arm.
Remove one of lock nuts, width across flats: 11mm, from a bulkhead coupling, and attach the bulkhead cou -
pling to the hole.
c) Fasten firmly with the removed lock nut.

2) Installs the air hose.
Install attached conversion couplings (φ6 to φ4) to the port A/B on the solenoid valve.
