Effect configuration

Both of the following versions are available for each effect type, depending on the
configuration of the channel into which the effect is inserted, the correct configuration is
selected automatically:
• Mono in and out: for mono auxes and returns, mono input channel, audio subgroup
and mix bus inserts.
• Stereo in and out: for stereo auxes and returns, stereo input channel, audio
subgroup and mix bus inserts.
If the mono/stereo pairing status of a channel is changed while an effect is inserted, the
effect will be replaced with the correct mono/stereo implementation.

Effect programs

Each effect type has a set of associated factory presets and user-configurable
programs. These programs are stored in a library that can be imported/exported
between the control centre and removable media.

Virtual DN-780 effects

The Virtual DN-780 provides emulation of the vintage Klark Teknik DN780 Digital
Reverberator/Processor unit. The DN780 is not just a reverberation device, it also gives
the user a unique and flexible means of producing realistic acoustic simulations for
environments of all types and sizes. The provision of effects programs further extends
this versatility, making it a very powerful acoustic processing package.
Not happy with the current designs with narrow fields of useful application, our research
has led to a new operating concept for the DN780 to extend versatility, backed by an
advanced high speed digital signal processor designed to handle the necessarily
complex computation. This technical innovation results in extremely high density
reverberation with convincing small room performance, authentic concert hall
reverberation and a wide ranging choice of basic 'acoustic spaces'.
The parameter controls give accurate adjustment of all reverberation parameters and
allow the engineer to create unique acoustic environments of virtually any type.
