After bus mix controls have been selected
to a mix pair, level/pan and level control
knobs offer control of relative contribution
levels onto the buses operating. level/pan
operates odd numbered controls, while level
operates the even ones. See Table 1 "Function
of mix control knobs" below for their combined
operation.

Left and right scroll by 1 buttons change
selection of input channel to the one
immediately left or right of the one currently
active.

Up and down scroll by 8 buttons change
selection of input channels to previous bank of
eight or next bank of eight, through the AUX
and MTX buttons (begins with auxes 1-8 and
ends with matrixes 9-16). Any other GUI
screens selected as input bays adjust
accordingly.

preset button stores and recalls a
user-definable selection of aux controls to the
GUI input channel strip.

AUX and MTX buttons select the
appropriate bank of eight aux or matrix
channels to the GUI, as shown by items 9
and 12.

ON/IN buttons, when illuminated, enable
bus assignment.

PRE fader buttons, when illuminated,
change signals sent to group buses from
post-fader to pre-fader.

scroll pair buttons change the selected
pair of auxes/matrixes in input fast strip up and
down in twos. This also sends the pair into the
next page of eight, that is, if you are at the
bottom pair (auxes 7 and 8) and you press
/DOWN, the next page in the sequence will
be assigned to the detail zone. Aux sends 9 to
16 are selected to the screen and the top pair
of that page (9 and 10) will be selected. The
same is true if you 'scroll pair' down off the last
pair of auxes (31 and 32), where the first
matrix page is assigned and matrixes 1 and 2
are selected.

Two pairs of seven-segment LCD digits for
displaying the numbers of the control pair
acting on the active bus. (GUI equivalent is
item 16, which shows the control pair numbers
highlighted.)

(store) quick access button navigates the
GUI screen support for the input fast strip
directly to the mix section so that multiple
sends can be adjusted in the GUI input channel
strip. These will show either "aux" or "mtx",
depending on the current setting on the bus
type keys (see page 58).

AFL (after-fade listen) stereo switch only
operates on the stereo pan and level style
buses and allows the user to accurately place
the stereo image on individual input channels.

aux and mtx (matrix) LCD legends,
illuminate to show which bus is in operation.
aux and mtx (matrix) are mix controls that
give continuous adjustment of sub group levels
sent to matrix mixes from +6dB to OFF.

Transition point, where solid colour
changes to translucent, indicates 0dB.
