Output bay GUI

The output bay GUI screen does not have any specific screens to display, as such. It is
most usefully employed for displaying and managing the GUI menu options, see
Chapter 7 "GUI Menu Options". Six screen access buttons in the primary navigation
zone provide direct access to screens in the GUI menu, which means that they are only
one or two button-presses away.

Six screen access buttons provide quick access
to specific GUI menu option screens; see "GUI menu
overview" on page 120. Press once to access the first
screen option and press again to access the second
one; subsequent presses swap between the screens.
automation/filing – takes you to the
Automation and Files screens.
effects/graphics – takes you to the Effects and
Graphic EQs screens.
routing/metering – takes you to the Dashboard
screen.
inputs/outputs – takes you to the Input
Channel Sheet and Output Channel Sheet screens.
monitors/preferences – takes you to the
Monitors and General (Preferences) screens.
vca's/assignable controls – takes you to the
Groups Sheet screen.

Left- (select) and right-hand (OK) buttons are
used, in combination with the trackball, to operate
GUI-only functions as well as the controls on the
physical control surface. These behave in the same
way as the buttons on a mouse.

Backlit GUI trackball moves cursor around the
output bay GUI screen.
