Using the RapidE to remotely control the XL8

Remote operation of the XL8 Control Centre's GEQs via the RapidE is quite
straightforward. Any of the 16 GEQs on the XL8 Control Centre will replicate fader
positions and adjustments on the RapidE, provided they have been configured as the
source of the RapidE's active channel. So, for example, if the currently selected
channel on the RapidE is allocated to GEQ 4 and you adjust a fader on the RapidE, the
corresponding fader on the GEQ 4 unit will move accordingly on the GUI screen.
Conversely, adjusting a GEQ unit's fader on the GUI screen will result in the replication
of this action on the RapidE, provided the RapidE's active channel is configured to that
GEQ. If it is not, no action will be seen on the RapidE, although the new fader position
will be recalled if a channel configured to this GEQ is activated.

Solo

If a GEQ is configured for solo and a channel on the RapidE is dedicated to that GEQ,
when solo is selected for that GEQ the dedicated channel will be activated on the
RapidE.
