Connect the Ethernet cable from the Processor Unit to the Wide Band Transceiver
(WBT). (C8)
Note
It is very important that a high-quality Ethernet cable is used. You must use
CAT-5E STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) quality or better. If you use a cable with
lower bandwidth capacity you will reduce the EK80 performance. Do not connect
the Processor Unit to the Wide Band Transceiver (WBT) using an existing local
area network (LAN).
Depending on the operational requirements, one or more Wide Band Transceiver
(WBT) units may be used in the complete EK80 system. An Ethernet switch is
required if more than one Wide Band Transceiver (WBT) is used.
