Target Y
The target distance.
Represented by a light
green dot with crosshairs.
Approach
The width of the
Width
approach you are
detecting, represented by
blue vertical lines.
Pan
The sensor's hoizontal
angle.
Right = positive
Left = negative
Tilt
The sensor's vertical
angle, represented by a
negative angle because
the sensor should be
pointed down.
Communicating via a serial terminal
Click the Serial Terminal button in the Tools menu.

Click Settings and choose a communication port and baud rate.

Save the settings by closing the window.

Click Open to start a terminal session.

Aim the sensor up the
road by the amount of
feet specified in the
Target Y field.
Allows you to make the
virtual roadway match the
width of the approach.
For example, if under Pan
it says "18º," you would
pan the sensor right 18
degrees.
For example, if under Tilt
it says "-20º," you would
tilt the sensor down 20
degrees.
