Inspections

6.1.1

Overview

Interval
A detailed inspection should be performed by Brainlab support once a year.
Follow the instructions given in this document carefully for safe performance of routine
maintenance.
Warning
Do not service or maintain the Buzz Navigation (Ceiling-Mounted) or any of its components
while using it.
Authorization
Warning
Only Brainlab and/or authorized partners are allowed to service the system and equipment.
Warning
Risk of electrical shock: There are no user-serviceable parts. Do not remove any covers.
All installation, servicing and maintenance is to be carried out by Brainlab or trained
authorized technicians.
Battery Life
The MCU CMOS battery must be replaced every three years. This must be performed by Brainlab
or Brainlab authorized service personnel.
Empty batteries must be properly disposed of or recycled according to your organization's rules
and local legislation. For battery disposal and replacement, arrange an appointment with Brainlab
support.
