Adjusting the color index

After replacing main board, combiner, color wheel, and upgrading firmware, adjust the color index.
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
• Do not look into the projector lens when the laser is on. The extremely high brightness can cause
permanent eye damage.

Criteria
1.Project the 64 Gray RGBW pattern.
2.Enter Service mode.

Entering Service mode
3.Click Wheel Index (3x) or select Wheel Index (2x).
4.Click Filter Index.
5.Set up for the color index value.
Only confirm the red color level as the other color levels are not taken into account.
a.Adjust the index upwards until red does not appear smooth.
b.Record the a index value.
c.Adjust the index downwards until red does not appear smooth.
d.Record the b index value.
e.Set the index value to (a+b)/2.

• WUXGA: 1920 x 1200 @60Hz
64 Gray RGBW, 256 Gray
• Check if the color level is supersaturated.
• If the color level is supersaturated, the 64 Gray RGBW and 256 Gray test patterns
appear blurred and fuzzy.
• Colors in 64 Gray RGBW and 256 Gray test patterns appear sharp and clear.
• No noise is visible on the screen.
