Compile hardware configuration

Description
For a SINUMERIK MC and the associated PC system, you compile and load separately and in
any sequence.
Procedure
To compile the configured hardware configuration, proceed as follows:
1. In the project navigation, select the SINUMERIK MC.
2. Select the shortcut menu "Compile > Hardware (only changes)".
3. In the project navigation, select entry "MCU_PC_1".
4. Select the shortcut menu "Compile > Hardware (only changes)".
The consistency of the hardware configuration is tested in the compilation process. Remedy
any errors that may occur and compile the project again.
Result
The PC system and the SINUMERIK MC with the integrated subcomponents PLC, CP and NC
have been compiled.

Establish the communication connection

Description
To be able to load the configuration to the PLC, a communication connection (Ethernet) must
be established between the PG/PC and the PLC.
