Configure SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) on this page. Simple Mail Transfer Protocol is the
message‐exchange standard for the Internet. The switch is to be configured as a client of SMTP while the server is
a remote device that will receive messages from the switch that alarm events occurred.
Mail Server: The IP address or hostname of the mail server. IP address is expressed in dotted decimal notation.
This will be the device that sends out the mail for you
User Name: Specify the username on the mail server.
Password: Specify the password of the user on the mail server.
Sender: Specify the sender name of the alarm mail.
Return Path: Specify the sender email address of the alarm mail. This address will be the "from" address on the
email message.
Email Address #: Specify the email address of the receiver.
Buttons
Apply: Click to save changes.
Reset: Click to undo any changes made locally and revert to previously saved values.
