Recei ver was mounted in ·the right avionics stack. Antenna mounted on the
top fuselage right of the dorsal fin. A doubler was fabricated fran .040
Alclad 2024-T3 aluminum and riveted to the outer skin using sealant. Antenna
mounted with hardware supplied by Texas Instrurrent. Antenna coupler
mounted on bracket fabricated fran .063 Alclad 2024- T3 aluminum. Br acket
mounted to structure above baggage ccrnpa.rtrrent. Power supplied through
anp circuit breaker mounted in the lefthand breaker panel .
System installed according to procedures specified in Texas InstrurrEnt's
manual 2788127- 0002 ; FAA AC 90-45A, appendix A, paragraph 26; FAA AC
43.13-lA, chapter 15, sections 1-6, and FAA AC 43.13- 2A, chapter 1,
paragraphs 1-2, chapter 2, paragraphs 21-27 and chapter 3, paragraphs 36,
38,39, and 44.
The system was ground checked according to procedures found in Texas
InstrurrEnt's manual 2788127-0002
and
FAA AC 90-45A, appendix A, paragraphs
3b and 3c .
A flight test was performed
and
all errors were recorded
and
found t o
be
within tolerances set forth in FAA AC 90-45A, appendix A, paragraphs 9- 11.
The equiprrent meets the requirements for VFR flight as prescribed in FAA
AC 90-45A, and is placarded as follows:
