Chapter 4 - Operation and Administration
Average Delay: The average packet delay in milliseconds, measured for this
connection over the last 15 seconds.
Delay Variance: The variance (the standard deviation squared) of the packet
delay, in milliseconds squared, measured for this connection over the last 15
seconds.
Maximum Delay: The maximum packet delay in milliseconds, measured for
this connection over the last 15 seconds.
Data Loss Indicator (%): The percentage of dropped packets, out of the total
demand, measured for this connection over the last 15 seconds. The value is
updated every second.
DLI (%) = 100 * (Packets Dropped) / (Packets Submitted)
CIR Utilization (%): The CIR utilization measured for an RT or NRT connection
over the last 15 seconds. For BE connections will return 0. For each one
second interval k=(bytes transferred)/(bytes demanded)*100 is calculated.
Bytes demanded over CIR will not be accounted for. The CIR Utilization equals
the average of k over the last 15 seconds, and may vary from 0 to 100. The
value is updated every second.
EIR Utilization (%): Excess Information Rate utilization measured for a BE or
NRT connection over the last 15 seconds. For RT and CG connections will
return 0. For each one second interval k=(bytes transferred-CIR)/(bytes
demanded-CIR) is calculated. Requested bytes above MIR will not be taken
into account. The EIR Utilization equals the average of k over the last 15
seconds, and may range from 0 to 100. The value is updated every second.
Average Throughput (bits/s): The average throughput, in bits/second,
measured for this connection over the last 15 seconds. The value is updated
every second.

Service Profiles
Each Service Profile defines the properties of the defined service. Each Service
Profile is associated with specific Forwarding Rule and Priority Classifier (Priority
Classifiers are not applicable to Voice Service Profiles).
The Service Profile menu enables defining new Service Profiles, viewing or editing
details of previously defined Service Profiles and removing Service Profiles from
the database.
The Service Profiles database can hold up to 1024 Service Profiles.
