Is resistance  ?
YES
Go to step 9.
NO
a. Replace the wire harness.
b. Push the ON/start switch.
c. Operate the rear brake lever, and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction
mode of the YDT.
Is it in the "Recovered" condition?
YES
Go to step 11, and complete the service.
NO
Go to step 9.
9. Defective rear brake light switch.
• Replace the rear brake light switch.
Refer to "REAR BRAKE" on page 4-50.
Is check result OK?
YES
Go to step 10.
NO
a. Push the ON/start switch.
b. Operate the rear brake lever, and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction
mode of the YDT.
Is it in the "Recovered" condition?
YES
Go to step 11, and complete the service.
NO
Go to step 10.
