13.2.7 Inrush Card Frame and Rectifier Bus Plates
To remove or reinstall the inrush card frame and the
rectifier bus plates, use the following steps. Refer to
Illustration 13.6.
Disassembly
1.
Remove the inrush card. Refer to
chapter 13.2.6 Inrush Card.
2.
Remove 3 nuts (7 mm), 1 from each inrush
busbar, and remove the busbars.
3.
Remove 4 nuts (7 mm) from the plastic inrush
card frame, and remove the frame.
4.
Remove 4 screws (T40), 1 from each SCR module
and 1 from the DC coil. The screw in the DC coil
is a smaller diameter.
5.
If load share/regen option is present, remove 2
additional screws (T40). See Illustration 13.5.
6.
Remove the rectifier(-) bus plate from the drive.
7.
Remove the insulator sheet.
8.
Remove 4 screws (T40), 1 from each SCR module
and 1 from the DC coil. Remove the rectifier(+)
bus plate from the drive.

Reassembly
Tighten fasteners according to chapter 14.1 Fastener Torque
Ratings.

Place the rectifier(+) bus plate in its original
position. Secure with 4 screws (T40), placing the
smaller screw at the top of the bus plate.
Place the insulator sheet on the bus plate
alignment pins.
Place the rectifier(-) bus plate in its original
position. Secure with 4 screws (T40), placing the
smaller screw at the top of the bus plate.
If load share/regen option is present, secure 2
additional screws (T40). See Illustration 13.5.
Replace the plastic inrush card frame, and secure
the frame with 4 nuts (7 mm).
Replace the 3 inrush busbars. Secure with 3 nuts
(7 mm), 1 in each busbar.
Reinstall the inrush card.
