NOTE: If suction tube in tank develops an air leak, spray

performance will diminish when tank level reaches the
leak.
Removal (Fig. 24)
IMPORTANT: Make sure to remove and neutralize

chemicals from tank and spray components before
disassembly. Wear protective clothing, chemical re-
sistant gloves and eye protection during repair.
1. Park machine on a level surface, stop engine, en-
gage parking brake and remove key from the ignition
switch.

2. Remove suction strainer from spray tank.

3. Raise tank lid and remove strainer basket to gain ac-
cess to suction tube inside spray tank.
4. Remove suction tube assembly from spray tank and
disassemble tube using Figure 8 as a guide. Discard all
removed O--rings and gaskets.
Assembly (Fig. 24)
NOTE: Coat all O--rings with vegetable oil before instal-
lation to reduce the chance of damage during assembly.
1. Assemble and install suction tube assembly using
Figure 24 as a guide. Replace all removed O--rings and
gaskets. Make sure that clearance exists between suc-
tion tube foot and bottom of tank after assembly.
2. Check spray tank for leaks. Repair all leaks before
returning the sprayer to service.
