8.108 ^RF READ OR WRITE RFID FORMAT

Format: ^RFo,f,b,n,m
o = Operation
W : Write
R : Read
L : Write [locked] (not supported yet)
P : Read [password protected] (not supported yet)
When omitted: W
* If "L: Write [locked]" and "P: Read [password protected]" are selected, operation is performed as
"W: Write" and "R: Read," respectively.
f = Format
A :ASCII
H :HEX
E :EPC
When omitted: H
* When E is selected, operation is performed with A if the format is not registered with ^RB
command.
b = Start block number
0 to n (n = maximum number of blocks)
When omitted:
Gen 2 and parameter m is set to E or 1
Gen 2 and parameter m is set to 0, 2, or 3
Other than Gen 2
*1 In the case of Gen 2 tags, the unit of measure is word.
*2 If this parameter is set to 2 with parameter m set to E or 1, the value becomes 2.
n = Number of bytes to read or write
1 to n
When omitted: 1 (Writing is performed for data amount.)
m = Memory bank
E : EPC 96-bit (command automatically performs operation on Gen 2 bit address 20h and
0 : Reserved
1 : EPC
2 : TID (Tag ID)
3 : User
When omitted: E
*1 In writing in the TID area, most tags generate a writing error.
(Due to permanent lock)
*2 Some tags do not have user area and the user area size differs depending on tag
manufacturers.
