Quick Connect Fittings (QC) and Filter

Use the instructions below and Figure 4-21 to replace the QC fitting ().
1. Use the instructions in "Chassis and Control Panel" on page 4-9 to remove the
chassis.
2. Put the control panel () on a flat work surface upside down.
3. Remove the three screws () that secure the HM2 collar () to the quick connect
().
4. Remove the three screws () that secure the QC adapter () to the quick connect
().
5. Remove the quick connect () from the control panel ().
6. Remove the filter () and o-ring () from the quick connect ().
7. Put the filter () and o-ring () in the new quick connect ().
8. Position the quick connect fitting on the control panel and install the o-ring.
9. Position the QC adapter () in the control panel () and secure it to the quick
connect () with three screws (). Tighten the screws in a star shaped pattern.
After tightened, torque the screws to 2.3 Nm (20.4 in-lb).
10. Slide the tube () through the QC adapter () into the quick connect () until it
stops.
11. Position the HM2 collar () on top of the QC adapter () and secure it with three
screws () and lock washers ().
12. Use the instructions in "Chassis and Control Panel" on page 4-9 to install the control
panel and put the chassis back into the case.
Intensifier front panel shown.
Procedure the same for the Controller.
