15.6 Oil tank cleaning

1) To reach the pump, follow the procedure explained from points 3 to 6 under "Replacement of pump oil".
2) Drain the pump oil as described under "Replacement of pump oil".
3) Unscrew the screws on the oil tank and remove it (Fig. 4).
4) Clean all parts of the tank thoroughly using a cloth soaked in the same oil used in the pump (Fig. 5).
5) Clean the gasket housing thoroughly and insert a new one if the old one is worn or damaged.
6) Screw the tank back in.
7) Top up the oil, then close the machine following the procedure explained from points 9 to 12 under "Replacement of
pump oil".

15.7 Replacement of vacuum chamber gasket

If a vacuum is not generated in the chamber during an operating cycle and the gasket is visibly damaged, it should be
replaced. A Cutter is needed to cut the gasket.
1) Lift the lid.
2) Remove the gasket on the edge of the vacuum chamber and clean the
housing of any dirt or residue (Fig. 6).
3) Insert the new gasket, pressing it all the way down into its housing, using
the cutter to cut it to size (Fig. 7).
4) Run an empty cycle to allow the gasket to adjust in its housing.
