TECHNICAL SERVICE 2.3.1 WARRANTY All ORVED products are normally subjected to severe quality and functional checks before installation to ensure safety and in the interests of our Clients. 2.3.1.1 COVER All ORVED products are covered by a warranty for manufacturing and machining defects, and we undertake to replace parts found to be defective by the manufacturer free of charge. -

THERMO-SEALING MACHINE FOR TRAYS GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS ORVED has analyzed the fundamental operations regarding use and maintenance for the design and construction of the appliance; the operating methods are studied and described in this Manual to allow safe operation. ATTENTION: Failure to observe these regulations can be extremely hazardous for safety of the appliance and persons. -

GENERAL INFORMATION THERMO-SEALING MACHINE FOR TRAYS 2.4.2.6 MODIFYING THE APPLIANCE DANGER! - Do not make any modifications or changes on the machine without the manufacturer’s permission. - Replace all deteriorated, worn or damaged parts immediately (replacement must be done by a qualified technician). - Use only genuine spare parts. -

INSTALLATION THERMO-SEALING MACHINE FOR TRAYS SUPPLY VOLTAGE 5.2.1 230V SINGLE-FASE POWER SUPPLY The appliances are provided with a standard 2P+T-10/16A German plug for connection to the electricity mains. Insert the plug in a compatible power socket supplied by the mains. ELECTRIC HAZARD! Before making the connection, always check to make sure the electrical features of the system in the installation area are suitable. -

SEALING TEMPERATURE REGULATION. The sealing temperature is regulated via the digital thermostat (1) (PROFI-1, PROFI-2 and PROFI-3) or by the knob (7) (mod. LST) and usually ranges between 140 and 180°C. In order to know exactly which temperature to set, consult the supplier and/or producer of the film reels and trays, as various factors may influence this parameter (materials, thickness of the film). -

MAINTENANCE THERMO-SEALING MACHINE FOR TRAYS CARE AND CLEANING OF THE VACUUM PACKER ELECTRIC HAZARD! Danger of electric shock ! Remove the machine plug from the power socket. Do not use water or steam jets. DANGER! Danger of burns: if alcohol-based or inflammable disinfectant products are used, ventilate the area. Do not use naked flames near the machine! Do not smoke! ATTENTION! Danger of injury! Use personal protective equipment. - Page 13 MAINTENANCE THERMO-SEALING MACHINE FOR TRAYS 7.3.3 REPLACING THE RED SILICONE RUBBERS OF THE TRAY DIES. 1) Check to make sure the spare part corresponds to the silicone rubber to be replaced. 2) Remove the red silicone rubber from the tray die (A) and clean the seat to remove residual dirt, if any, using compressed air. 3) Insert the new seal pressing it firmly into the slot, taking care to fix it with universal adhesive if necessary (e.g.: cyanoacrylate).

MAINTENANCE THERMO-SEALING MACHINE FOR TRAYS TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTION Machine not working Machine Off Switch on the machine using the ON/OFF main switch. No power supply - Insert the plug in a socket (check the voltage!). - Check power cable to make sure it is intact. - Check that the fuse/s are intact and correctly inserted. -

MAINTENANCE THERMO-SEALING MACHINE FOR TRAYS DISPOSAL OF THE MACHINE AND ITS PARTS For scrapping the HEAT-SEALING MACHINE or its parts, do not dump these in city waste bins: scrapped appliances are not useless wastes!
