• Up to 20 web browsers can access the machine at the same time.
• You cannot access the Web page when the power of the machine is off.
• If the administrator password is not set, you cannot use the whiteboard function. If a machine
system that is using version 3.5.X.X or earlier is updated to version 3.6.0.0 while its administrator
password is still "admin", you cannot change any settings in [Administrator Settings] unless you first
change the administrator password. Set or change the administrator password. For details about
changing the administrator password, see page 162 "Administrator Settings".
• You can access the Web page of the machine by connecting the machine directly to a computer
with a LAN cable. If you do this, functions that need network connections, such as system updates
or connection tests do not work. Procedures for connecting the machine directly to a computer are
as follows:
1. If the computer is connected to a network, such as a wireless LAN, disconnect it from the
network.
2. Connect the machine to a computer with a LAN cable.
3. If the machine's setting for [Network Auto Settings] is enabled, enable the setting for DHCP on
the computer, and then proceed to Step 1 of "Displaying the Top Page".
4. If the machine's setting for [Network Auto Settings] is disabled, specify an IP address for a
computer that belongs to the same subnet of the IP address specified for the whiteboard, and
then proceed to Step 2 of "Displaying the Top Page". For example, if the machine's IP address
is "192.168.0.1", specify "192.168.0.3" on the computer.
