Apply a 1/4" bead of couplant down the center of the emitting surface of the transducer (Figure
3).
Install transducer into Mounting Track Assembly and align its front edge with the Reference Index
Marker. Mate to pipe and clamp in place (Figures 4 and 6).

Repeat installation steps for second transducer and align to the Number Index previously selected
by the flowmeter. Mate to pipe and clamp in place.
Release O-Ring gaskets from their seats and allow them to contact the pipe by pushing the
corners down with a screwdriver. Wipe away any excess couplant (Figure 7).

Secure 1020 Integrated Flowmeter to Mounting Track Cover with four bolts, washers, lock washers
and nuts (Figure 8).
Secure Integrated Flowmeter/Mounting Track Cover Assembly to Mounting Track Assembly and
secure with four screws (Figure 9).
Connect transducer cables ensuring upstream/downstream orientation is correct (Figure 10).

Confirm installation is functional by completing flowmeter menu.
