NOTE: The <ALT> and <ENTER> keys must be pressed before the meter scans through all
the drives, or the selection of the detection mode and the Force Transmit function
must be initiated again.
2. As the meter begins going through the drives, press <ENTER> again. A typical menu screen ap-
pears as shown below (i.e., only when using a PC via the RS-232 port) and indicates the current
ALC (e.g., 50). Steps 1 and 2 above must be completed before the meter scans through all the
drives, or selection of the detection mode and the Force Transmit function must be initiated again.
NOTE: The 1020 flowmeter does not display the Force Transmit data display line.
This ALC number indicates the current receive signal strength and can be used for further diagnos-
tic purposes.
