NOTE: The Model 1020 Totalizer Controls can only be accessed as follows:
1. From the 1020 KeyPad:
a. Only the CLEAR function is accessible from the KeyPad. In the Flow/Total Units menu,
highlight the [Reset Totalizer] menu cell and select [Yes].
b. The CLEAR (Reset Totalizer) and NOTOT (Freeze Totalizer) commands are enabled
when TB2 Pins 17 & 18 (Freeze Totalizer) and TB2 pins 19 & 20 (Reset Totalizer) are
accessed via the RS-232 serial port (see drawing 1020-7).
2. From the RS-232 Serial Port: All the Totalizer commands listed below can be executed using
the normal PC keyboard function keys via VT100 terminal key emulation. To execute: Open
Windows HyperTerminal and click [File] then [Properties]. In [Settings] menu, select [Ter-
minal Keys].

Resetting the Totalizer registers clears all total data accu-
mulated during operation.
NOTE: The Clear Totalizer function (CLRTOT) can only
be invoked from the keypad or an external PC key-
board via the RS-232 port.
Invoking the NOTOT command disables the Totalizer. To-
talization will not resume until you repeat the Fn and Nu-
meric 2 key sequence. When you activate NOTOT, an N
precedes the TOTAL symbol (i.e., [NTOTAL]) on the LCD
Screen.
The LAPTOT command freezes the Totalizer screen dis-
play. However, the flow computer will continue to update
its internal registers. The flow computer will show
current total when you repeat the F1 - Numeric 3 key se-
quence. When you activate
TOTAL symbol (i.e.,[LTOTAL]) on the LCD Screen.
Clears the Batch Sample totalizer register. See Batch/
Sample Total.
Clears the Makeup Latch. See paragraph 6.7 The Data
Span/Set/Cal Menu and subparagraph 6.7.1 Span Data.
