5 Installation of the planar surface gantries and the three-dimensional gantries
5.6 Motor with brake (EMMS-...-RSB/RMB)
Dismantling is required only for a motor with brake in order to push the slide for alignment of the sys­
tem. A motor without brake can remain mounted.
5.6.1

Dismantling

For motor position left/right, the motor is located on an X-axis.
• Unscrew screws.
• Remove motor from the X-axis.
5.6.2

Mounting

• Push motor onto the X-axis.
Check: correct position of the coupling hubs in
relation to each other.
• Connect motor flanges together.
Tightening torques
M4: 3 Nm
M6: 10 Nm
M8: 18 Nm
