Sensor run-in period
This can result in hazardous incorrect
metering
Take into consideration the sensor's
run-in period during commissioning:
–
There has to be adequate feed
chemical in the sample water for
your application (e.g. 0.5 ppm
chlorine)
–
Correct measuring and metering
is only possible if the sensor is
working perfectly.
–
It is imperative that you adhere to
the sensor's run-in periods.
–
Calculate the run in period when
planning commissioning.
–
It may take a whole working day
to run in the sensor.
–
Refer to the sensor's operating
instructions.
After mechanical and electrical installa‐
tion, integrate the controller into the meas‐
uring point.
