A software update may be necessary if:
New functions or new operating lan‐
n
guages are available and the software
is to be upgraded with them
A software modification is necessary.
n
In this case you will be informed by
ProMinent or its plant engineer /
dealer about it.
A software update does not change the
current device settings.
The following are required for a software
update:
A PC with internet access, so that you
n
can download the necessary software
A PC with an SD card reader
n
An SD memory card, maximum size
n
16 GB, for software transfer
You can download the latest software
from the link on the ProMinent homepage:

link Info/Downloads. Ø Create a directory
called Update on the memory card.
Under the above link you will find a ZIP
file containing 4 files:

You can find out the latest software ver‐
'info.txt' . Copy all four files

An update is carried out in 3 steps:
Update of the main module =

Update of the language file =

1. To do this access the following
menu in the controller and carry out
the following 3 steps:
ð The controller reads in the
respective data, thereafter the
display goes out for approxi‐
mately 30 seconds and then
the controller reboots. The
steps must be carried out man‐
ually.
