LDX-3200 Series' Often Used Commands
The LDX-3200 Series Precision Current Source's complete command set contains over 60 commands that allow you to
operate the Current Source for a variety of applications. Within the command set, however, is a smaller subset of
commands that will meet most of your needs. These commands are listed in Table 3.2.

FUNCTION
Returns errors generated since the last query.
Used to set the CAL PD (monitor responsivity) constant.
Used to set the current source set point value.
Used to return the constant current source measured value
Used to return the measured laser voltage value
Used to set the current limit (high range for LDX-3210 ).
Used to set the current limit (low range for LDX-3220).
Used to set the current limit (low range for LDX-3210, high range for LDX-
3220).
Used to set the constant optical power (from monitor PD) limit value.
Used to set the current source compliance voltage limit value (LIM V).
Used to set the constant optical power set point
Returns the actual monitor PD power value
Returns the mode, ILBW, IHBW, or MDP (optical power).
Sets the mode to constant current, high bandwidth mode.
Sets the mode to constant current (low bandwidth) mode.
Sets the mode to constant optical power mode.
Used to enable/disable the current source output
Returns the current source output status.
Sets the laser current output range.
