Checking operations with event viewer

Check the operations of the board with the Windows event viewer.
For error events
Errors occurred in the driver are displayed in the system log of the event viewer.
Errors related to the CC-Link IE Field Network board are displayed as "Mccief" in the source field of the event viewer.
The following explains error messages and their corrective actions.
For multiple errors, check the occurrence order (occurrence time) on the event viewer screen and perform
corrective actions from the first error that occurred.
Event ID Error message
256 Because the error had occurred in the during
(0100H) starting of the device, the device was not
able to be executed.
258 Time-out was detected while accessing the
(0102H) board.
259 The board more than the maximum number
(0103H) of sheets which was able to be installed was
detected.
279 An error occurred when Registry Database
(0117H) wrote out.
280 Own station received the request which was
(0118H) not processable from another station.
286 Failed to allocate the Memory Area.
(011EH)
287 The parameter is not set to the board.
(011FH) Otherwise, the parameter set to the board is
broken.
288 Driver WDT error had occurred.
(0120H)
295 The Board WDT error had occurred.
(0127H)
296 Board error was detected by the hardware
(0128H) self-diagnosis.

(0130H)
305 Shift to the sleep, the hibernate, or the fast
(0131H) startup was detected. Because of the board
supports neither the sleep nor the hibernate
nor the fast startup, it does not operate
normally.
306 Detect "surprise removal". Please make sure
(0132H) of the installation of the interface board and
the state of computer.

Corrective action
• Reinstall the software package.
• Check the board installation status. (Page 157 Check the board installation)
• If the board operates normally on another personal computer, the personal computer
may have problems. In this case, repair or replace the personal computer.
• If the error occurs on another personal computer, replace the board.
If any of the above actions do not solve the error, reinstall the operating system.
• Restart the personal computer.
• Check the board installation status. (Page 157 Check the board installation)
• If the board operates normally on another personal computer, the personal computer
may have problems. In this case, repair or replace the personal computer.
• If the error occurs on another personal computer, replace the board.
If any of the above actions do not solve the error, please consult your local Mitsubishi
representative.
Remove the board which exceeds the maximum number of applicable boards.
• Restart the personal computer after installing the software package, and check if the
error does not occur.
• Increase the system memory and disk capacity.
• When the error has occurred at updating Windows 8.1 or upgrading the operating
system with the software package installed, reinstall the software package.
Check the board which is commanding a process and check the program in the
programmable controller CPU.
Expand the memory in the personal computer.
Set parameters in the utility and reset the board.

• Restart the personal computer.
• Refer to the troubleshooting when the Hardware error occurred. (Page 150

Change the power option not to entering the sleep mode, hibernation mode, or enabling
fast startup and restart the personal computer.
• Check the board installation status, and reinstall the board after shutdown in case of an
abnormal installation.
• Check the personal computer operating status, and repair or replace the personal
computer in case of an abnormal operation.
