PORT1 and PORT2 connectors need not to be distinguished.
• When only one connector is used in star topology, either PORT1 or PORT2 connector can be used.
• When using two connectors for line topology and ring topology, an Ethernet cable can be connected to the
connectors in any combination. For example, the cable can be connected between PORT1s and between
PORT1 and PORT2.
