7.4.3 Inserting the SIM card into the FE260

The SIM card must only be inserted and if applicable unlocked in FE260 GSM/GPRS/UMTS versions. For
other versions (Analog modem, Ethernet, ISDN) this chapter can be skipped.
SIM card installation varies according to the GSM/GPRS/UMTS module used in the FE260:
ECM-GW120, ECM-2G-UG350, ECM-3G-UU270

Ensure the mains voltage is disconnected before opening the FE260 housing, ensure it
is not turned back on and verify that there is no voltage.
Remove the four screws from the top of the FE260 and open it.
To unlock the SIM card holder slide the metal
strap to the right and open flap.
Slide SIM into the flap of the SIM card holder.
