EK280
d) Communication between thEK280 and the ComFTP modem
Once the corresponding time window has been opened, the EK280 makes contact with the modem in order
to scan reception level, network operator details, etc. If this is completed, the ComFTP modem will also read
information from the EK280. This is indicated by a flashing "o" (online) in the EK280 status display.
Once both processes have been successfully completed, the device combination can be achieved via a
GSM/CSD call. In order that the EK280 and the ComFTP application can be matched, a waiting time of up to
5 minutes may be required between each polling or retrieval attempt.
