ODBUS OMMUNICATION
Programming Modbus Master Using WindLDR
Modbus master communication is programmed for Modbus RTU mode using WindLDR. Since these settings relate to the user
program, the user program must be downloaded to the SmartAXIS after changing any of these settings.
From the WindLDR menu bar, select Configuration > Communication Ports.

The Function Area Settings dialog box for Communication Ports appears.
2. In the Communication Mode pull-
down list for Port 2, select Modbus
RTU Master.
Click the Configure button for Port 2. The Modbus RTU Master Request Table appears.
