Work Order Description
T01
Check: Short to Ground/Interruption of Voltage Supply Circuit
• Ignition OFF
• Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
Brake Light Switch
• Measure voltage between the following terminals:
Brake Light Switch – Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) ter-
minal E36-1
&
Ground
Yes: T02

Check: Short to Ground/Interruption of Voltage Supply Circuit
• Measure voltage between the following terminals:
Brake Light Switch – Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) ter-
minal E36-4
&
Ground
Yes: T03
T03
Check: Short to Voltage of Signal Circuit
• Ignition ON
• Measure voltage between the following terminals:
Brake Light Switch – Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) ter-
minal E36-3
&
Ground
Yes: T04
T04
Check: Short to Voltage of Voltage Supply Circuit
• Measure voltage between the following terminals:
Brake Light Switch – Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) ter-
minal E36-2
&
Ground
Yes: T05

• Connect fused jumper wire to:
