subscriber-interface
Syntax
[no] subscriber-interface ip-int-name
Context
config>service>ies
Description
This command allows the operator to create a special subscriber-based interfaces. It is used to contain
multiple group interfaces. Multiple subnets associated with the subscriber interface can be applied to
any of the contained group interfaces in any combination. The subscriber interface allows subnet
sharing between group interfaces.
Use the no form of the command to remove the subscriber interface.
Parameters
ip-int-name — Specifies the name of the IP interface. Interface names can be from 1 to 32

Context
config>service>ies>sub-if
Description
This command enables the context to configure a group interface. A group interface is an interface
that may contain one or more SAPs. This interface is used in triple-play services where multiple SAPs
are part of the same subnet.

none
Parameters
ip-int-name — Configures the interface group name. If the string contains special characters (#, $,
spaces, etc.), the entire string must be enclosed within double quotes.
authentication-policy
Syntax
authentication-policy name
no authentication-policy
Context

Description
This command assigns a RADIUS authentication policy to the interface.
The no form of this command removes the policy name from the group interface configuration.

Parameters
name — Specifies the authentication policy name. If the string contains special characters (#, $,
