config>service>vpls>mesh-sdp>mld-snooping
Description
This command specifies the version of IGMP which is running on this SAP or SDP. This object can
be used to configure a router capable of running either value. For IGMP to function correctly, all
routers on a LAN must be configured to run the same version of IGMP on that LAN.
When the send-query command is configured, all type of queries generate ourselves are of the
configured version. If a report of a version higher than the configured version is received, the report
gets dropped and a new "wrong version" counter is incremented.
If the send-query command is not configured, the version command has no effect. The version used
on that SAP or SDP will be the version of the querier. This implies that, for example, when there is a
v2 querier, a v3 group or group-source specific query when a host wants to leave a certain group will
never be sent.
