6.4 Description of the menu commands
Separate page layout for level 2 elements
In the tab dialog on the right, you can define a separate page layout for level 2 elements
(e.g. parameters). This layout is valid for all levels below this. You can also select the paper
orientation (portrait/landscape) and the margins. You have already set the paper format (e.g.
A4) on page 1 of the "Page setup" dialog. This setting applies to the entire report.
Applying the settings
Once you have made all the required settings, you can exit the dialog and apply all your
settings by choosing "Finish".

Print preview...

Functional restrictions
The menu command "Switching device" > "Print preview..." is not available with the basic
license. To use this function, you need a standard or premium license.
Calling up the print preview
To call up a print preview that displays the document with the current settings, choose
"Switching device" > "Print preview...". On page 1 of the "Page setup" dialog, you can specify
that the print preview is displayed automatically when you close the dialog.
Format of the print preview
In the print preview, you can use all the functions offered by Adobe Reader (e.g. save, print,
zoom, search).
Note
Setting the language
The print preview is displayed as a PDF document in Adobe Reader. You cannot change the
language of Adobe Reader via MSS ES.

Printing prerequisites
You can only print documents once you have correctly maintained the mandatory fields in
the tabular footer. If you have not done this, a message is displayed prompting you to do so
in the "Page setup" dialog box.
