2. Remove the transceiver from its shipping container and store the
packaging material in a safe location.
3. Position the transceiver with its handle on the right and slide it into the
slot until it clicks into place. Refer to Figure 29.

Note
If you are ready to attach the fiber optic cable to the transceiver,
continue with the next step. Otherwise for the AT-IS230-10GP
switch, repeat steps 1 to 3 to install the other transceiver in the
switch.
4. Remove the dust cover from the transceiver. Refer to Figure 30.
