MDI/MDIX

The 10/100/1000 Mbps twisted-pair ports on the IS Series switches are
IEEE 802.3ab compliant, with automatic MDI/MDIX detection. This feature
automatically configures the ports to MDI or MDI-X depending on the
wiring configurations of the end nodes.

Refer to Table 19 on page 104 for the pinouts of the twisted-pair ports at
10 or 100 Mbps and to Table 20 on page 105 for the port pinouts at 1000
Mbps.
