4. If you are installing the transceiver in a top slot, position the transceiver
with the Allied Telesis label facing up. If you are installing the
transceiver in a bottom slot, position the transceiver with the label
facing down. Refer to Figure 44.

5. Slide the transceiver into the slot until it clicks into place.
Note
If you are ready to attach the fiber optic cable to the transceiver,
continue with the next step. Otherwise, repeat steps 1 through 5 to
install the remaining transceivers in the switch.
6. Remove the dust cover from the transceiver, as shown in Figure 45.
