8.11.19.1 Before Removing Manual Feed Pickup Roller

1) Detach the rear right cover. (page 10-16)[Detaching the Rear Right Cov-
er]
2) Open the right cover fully (to the point where it does not interfere with oth-
er parts). (page 10-38)[Opening/Detaching the Right Cover]
3) Remove the manual feed unit. (page 8-50)[Removing Manual Feed Unit]

1) Disconnect the connector [1].

2) Remove the plate [1].
- 1 screw [2]

3) Disengage the claw and remove the bushing [1].

Points to note when attaching
When attaching, be sure to attach the manual feed tray upper cover before
attaching the bushing. Failure to do so may damage the bushing claw.
4) Detach the manual feed tray upper cover [1].
5) Remove the manual feed pickup roller [2] from the shaft.
- 1 plastic E-ring [1]
When removing the manual feed pickup roller, be careful not to drop the
dowel pin.
