Restore settings

Reinstalling the firmware resets the product to the factory defaults. This deletes
the setting, including the error compensation values . Not affected by this are user
files saved in the memory or files that are retained after a firmware reinstallation.
To restore settings, you must either reconfigure them on the unit yourself or
restore previously backed up settings on the unit.

occur during operation, refer to the machine tool builder's documentation or
contact a HEIDENHAIN service agency.
