Muting the Microphone

You can m u te the m icrop hone if you d o not w ant other p arties to hear you .
When you m ute the m icrophone, the three console LEDs glow red to ind icate
that the other party (or parties) can't hear you. You can still hear all other
parties w hile Mu te is enabled .
T o mute or unmute the microphone:
>> Du ring a call, p ress
T o mute or unmute the microphone if you use external microphones:
>> Press

Customizing the Phone Display

You can change how the phone screen looks by d oing the follow ing:
Changing the language the text d isplays in.
Changing how the tim e and d ate d isplay.
Changing the screen contrast.
Changing the backlight settings.

Changing the Language

The p hone su p ports m any langu ages. English (Internal) is the d efault
langu age that disp lays.
T o change the language:
1. Press
2. From the Langu age screen, scroll to the language you w ant, and then
p ress
The text on the screen changes to the langu age that you selected .
