T esting Phone Hardware

You r system ad m inistrator m ay ask you to access a d iagnostics m enu on your
phone to test you r phone hard w are. From the d iagnostics m enu, you can test
your p hone's m icrop hones, keypad m appings, d isplay, and LEDs. See you r
system ad m inistrator for instru ctions on how to p erform these tests.
T o access the diagnostics menus:

Au d io D iagn ostics, Keyp ad D iagn ostics, D isp lay D iagn ostics, or
LED D iagn ostics.

Investigating Phone Warnings

If you r p hone is unable to p erform certain tasks, a w arning icon,
d isp lay in the status bar. The w arning icon lets you know that you r phone has
one or m ore issues that you should know abou t. You can view inform ation
abou t p hone issu es from the Warnings screen.
T o view a detailed list of phone issues:

The Warnings screen d isp lays, listing any phone issu es. To view d etails, scroll
to a w arning and press the D etails soft key.
After you view the phone w arnings, you can press the Clear Icon soft key to
rem ove the icon from the status bar. The w arning w ill still d isplay in the
Warnings list until the phone issue is fixed .
