T o update the default channel:
1. Press
Con figu ration > PTT Pu sh to Talk .
2. From the PTT Channel Configuration screen, select the D efau lt Ch an n el
field , and then enter the d efault channel you w ant to use.
3. Press
The d efau lt channel changes, and you 're au tom atically subscribed to it.

Updating Channel Subscriptions

You can su bscribe to any channel that has been enabled by the system
ad m inistrator and appears in your channels list. When you su bscribe to a
channel, you can send and receive PTT broad casts on that channel.
T o subscribe to additional PTT channels:
1. Press
Con figu ration > PTT Pu sh to Talk .
2. From the PTT Channel Configuration screen, select
Ch an n el Su b scrip tion s.
3. From the Channel Su bscriptions screen, select the channel(s) you w ant to
su bscribe to, and then choose Yes.
By d efault, you're subscribed to Channels 1, 24, and 25.

Allowing PTT Broadcasts to Play During Active Calls

The Accept While Busy op tion allow s PTT broad casts to com e in as active calls
(if enabled ) or held calls (if d isabled ). If enabled , a PTT broad cast w ill interru pt
telephone calls and you'll hear the aud io of both the telephone call and the PTT
broad cast. The p arty on the other end of the telephone call cannot hear the PTT
broad cast u nless that p arty has also enabled Accept While Busy. If d isabled , PTT
broad casts are held d uring an active call. To hear the broad cast, scroll to the
broad cast and press the Accep t soft key.
T o allow or disallow PTT broadcasts to play during an active call:
1. Press
