During Calls

Du ring a call, you can d o the follow ing:
Place the call on hold .
Transfer the call to another party.
Set u p a conference w ith the party you're talking w ith and another party.

Holding and Resuming Calls

You can p lace a call on hold . When a call is held , the LEDs flash red .
You r p hone can hand le a m axim um of eight calls on hold , or one active call
and seven calls on hold . Only one call can be active at any tim e.
When you have m ore than one call (for exam ple, one active call and one call
on hold , or tw o calls on hold ), a counter d isp lays at the top -right of the screen
ind icating the total nu m ber of calls you have, and w hich call cu rrently
d isp lays. The m ost recent call d isplays first.
The follow ing figu re show s that you r p hone has tw o calls, and you're
cu rrently view ing the first (m ost recent) call.
To scroll through calls, p ress
T o hold a call:
>> During a call, press the H old soft key.
The console LEDs flash red to ind icate that a call is held .
T o resume a held call:
>> While a call is held , press the Resu m e soft key.
T ransferring Calls
When you transfer a call, you have the option to talk to the party to w hom
you 're transferring the call, or you can au tom atically transfer the call w ithout
sp eaking to the other party.
