Adjusting the Volume of Pages

You can ad just the volum e of p ages w hile they p lay. During a p age, p ress
to ad ju st the page volum e.
If you ad ju st the volu m e of a non-em ergency p age, your p hone w ill use the
ad ju sted volum e for su bsequ ent non-em ergency p ages. H ow ever, only your
system ad m inistrator can change the volu m e of an Em ergency page.

Muting Pages

While you send a page, you can press
peop le receiving you r page w on't hear anything. This behavior is sim ilar to a
phone call.

Updating the Default Paging Group

If you press and hold the Pagin g soft key, your page w ill autom atically go to
the d efault paging group, Paging Group 1. If you want, you can change the
d efau lt paging grou p.
T o update the default Paging Group:
1. Press
, and then select Settin gs > Basic > Preferen ces > Pagin g/PTT
Con figu ration > G rou p Pagin g.
2. From the Group Paging Configuration screen, select D efau lt G rou p , and
then enter the nu m ber of the new d efault p aging group. The d efault
p aging group is 1.
3. Press
to save you r change.

Updating Paging Group Subscriptions

By d efault, you're subscribed to Paging Groups 1, 24, and 25. This m eans that
you can send p ages to and receive pages sent to these grou p s. You can change
w hich grou p s you are su bscribed to. H ow ever, you can't d isable your
su bscrip tions to Paging Groups 24 and 25.
T o update your Paging Group subscriptions:
1. Press
, and then select Settin gs > Basic > Preferen ces > Pagin g/PTT
Con figu ration > G rou p Pagin g.
2. From the Group Paging Configuration screen, select
G rou p Su b scrip tion s.
3. From the Group Subscriptions screen, select the grou p (s) you w ant to
subscribe to, and then select Yes.
